Team by Lorde

Just recently listened to Lorde's new single, Team. For all of you who don't know who she is, Lorde is a 16 year old New Zealander singer/ songwriter. I can tell you now, she is AMAZING! At first I didn't get her style of singing, but after gradually listening to her songs on radio, I couldn't stop humming Royals, Tennis Court and Team.

Here are the lyrics to Team by Lorde.

Wait 'til you’re announced
We’ve not yet lost all our graces
The hounds will stay in chains
Look upon your greatness
That you’ll send
The call I'll send

Call all the ladies out
They’re in their finery
A hundreds jewels on throats
A hundred jewels between teeth
Now bring my boys in
Their skin in craters like the moon
The moon we love like a brother, while he glows through the room

Dancin' around the lies we tell
Dancin' around big eyes as well
Even the comatose they don’t dance and tell

[Chorus]
We live in cities you'll never see on screen
Not very pretty, but we sure know how to run free
Living in ruins of the palace within my dreams
And you know, we're on each other's team

I'm kind of over getting told to throw my hands up in the air, so there
So all the cups got broke shards beneath our feet but it wasn’t my fault
And everyone’s competing for a love they won't receive
'Cause what this palace wants is release

[Chorus]
We live in cities you'll never see on screen
Not very pretty, but we sure know how to run free
Living in ruins of the palace within my dreams
And you know, we're on each other's team

I’m kind of over getting told to throw my hands up in the air
So there
I’m kinda older than I was when I revelled without a care
So there

[Chorus]
We live in cities you'll never see on screen
Not very pretty, but we sure know how to run free
Living in ruins of the palace within my dreams
And you know, we're on each other's team
We're on each other's team
And you know, we're on each other's team
We're on each other's team
And you know, and you know, and you know

Cheese Pizza Snack

Hey there daydreamer, you came across my blog again! I was feeling hungry for something to munch on and came across pita bread and mozzarella cheese and decided to whip up a little something for myself.

I doubt you will find making this treat difficult. Firstly, what you will need is some pita bread and the solid, chunky cheese of your choice.

Basically just heat it in the oven and it should come out like the one below.

I'm not an expert at baking or cooking, I just like to enjoy whipping up some wierd snacks.

Happy eating :)

New Nail Polish Releases

Hello chubby bunnies :)
Recently I have picked up some nail polishes by Sally Hansen and Revlon. The colours and the variety is incredible and there are many to choose from for different occassions. I tried them in the chemists and the quality is really outstanding. I must admit they were a little pricey, but no fear! At Target they have a sale where if you spend $15 or more on Sally Hansen products you will receive a free gift valued at $32.

The ones I tried were Fuzzy Coat by Sally Hansen and Revlon's Moon Candy and Expressionist. The pictures below show the nail polishes.

This here is Fuzzy Coat by Sally Hansen. It's one of the last ones I could find, I really wanted to show you the blue or green one but they sold out real quick! So with Fuzzy Coat, there are little fine confetti bits of colour and a transparent varnish that holds them together. It dries out very quickly and leaves a nice shine in the light. I tried scraping my nail with a butter knife with this nail polish and it wouldn't come off! But it is really easy to remove it with nail varnish remover.
Here's the link to Sally's website:
Something was wrong with the website page to Fuzzy Coat, but I'm sure you'll be able to find it on her site.

Here we have Moon Candy by Revlon! I loved the style and colour range they had in the Moon Candy collection because it was really cosmic and 3 dimensional. On one end of the nail polish is the base shade which is labelled 1 ( the dark purple) and the glittery 3D varnish is labelled 2.
Visit the website below to watch Revlon as they teach you to apply their tricks!

This here is a different collection by Revlon called Expressionist. It is similar to Moon Candy as to how you apply it, but with the colour labelled 2, you are recommended to create a nail art or a design. The colour I picked up here is called Pop Art. Unfortunately, Revlon currently doesn't have a discount and their varnishes aren't on sale yet but hopefully soon they will be.
Click the link below to watch the experts!

Thats all for now! Thank you so much for visitng my blog and reading my posts, all my hard work is paid off because my lovely readers.

Please subscibe to my blog. Bye until the next post!

#ROAR Katy Perry

Released on 12th August ROAR by Katy Perry! OMG it is the best song ever! Listen it on iTunes or click the link to the lyric video below. I love the look of the lyric video. ( WhatsApp)

Roar by Katy Perry
I used to bite my tongue and hold my breath
Scared to rock the boat and make a mess
So I sat quietly, agreed politely
I guess that I forgot I had a choice
I let you push me past the breaking point
I stood for nothing, so I fell for everything

You held me down, but I got up
Already brushing off the dust
You hear my voice, you hear that sound
Like thunder, gonna shake the ground
You held me down, but I got up
Get ready cause I’ve had enough
I see it all, I see it now

[Chorus]
I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire
Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Louder, louder than a lion
Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You’re gonna hear me roar

Now I’m floating like a butterfly
Stinging like a bee I earned my stripes
I went from zero, to my own hero

You held me down, but I got up
Already brushing off the dust
You hear my voice, you hear that sound
Like thunder, gonna shake the ground
You held me down, but I got up
Get ready ’cause I’ve had enough
I see it all, I see it now

[Chorus]
I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire
‘Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Louder, louder than a lion
‘Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You’re gonna hear me roar
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You'll hear me ROAR
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You're gonna hear me ROAR...

Roar-or, roar-or, roar-or, roar-or, roar-or

I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire
‘Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Louder, louder than a lion
‘Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You’re gonna hear me ROAR
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You'll hear me ROAR
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You're gonna hear me ROAR...

Annoying Cat Mario!

If you totally have no idea what Cat Mario is, I'm here to express the annoyance of the game for you. The first thing that popped into my mind when a friend mentioned ' CAT MARIO!' was the image of me playing Super Mario Bros. on my ancient Nintendo DS.

Basically, the only difference between Super Mario Bros. and Cat Mario is the character/ avatar ( whatever you want to call it) is a cat.

MIAOW!

Okay, no.1 annoying factor of cat mario: The game literally hates you.
I'm telling you right now, Cat Mario will not let you win. Just like in any bad superhero movie, the baddies always win. E.g if you try even walking across the grass to get to finish line, without using the little flying bricks, oh boy are you going to pay for it! The ground out of nowhere just drops and you die! THE END

Annoying factor no.2: Background music sucks.
Listen to me now when I say this; turn the volume off. The theme song runs for like, 20 seconds and repeats itself OVER and OVER again. That tune will get stuck in your head! And it will not be entertaining to get a 20 second song stuck in your head for your lifetime! ( I'm only exaggerating when I say lifetime)

Factor of annoying-ness no.3: Your hard work is not rewarded.
Have you heard the quote: ' No pain no gain' ? I don't think the makers of Cat Mario let that happen. When it took me -23 lives to complete a level, all of a sudden I use 46 lives to complete the next level. I spent 5 hours playing this game and all I get is torture!

Annoying no.4: IT'S ADDICTIVE!
I know it may not make any sense to point out the negatives in Cat Mario and in the end say it's addictive, but it is! No matter how much the game annoys me, for some odd reason it just is. Have you ever had that experience that no matter how much you lose at something like a game or a sport, you still have the determination to keep going?

Here's the link to the game:

I will try to post regularly when I can, toodles for now :)

Book Review: Eve by Anna Carey

I've just recently finished a book called Eve.

I can't tell you how long I have wanted to read it! Don't take it in a way that it's a long book, it was just really hard for me to find it but I'm sure where you're living has better variety of books!

Eve is about an 18 year old girl who - like many other orphaned children whose parents died in the plague - have been brought up since a young age at a School who has educated them and promised them a bright new future in the New America.

But the night before graduation, Eve learns the shocking truth of the school's real purpose and the horrifying fate that awaits her.

Fleeing the only home she has ever known, Eve sets out into the wilderness to seek refuge in Califia. On the way she meets a rebellious boy named Caleb, soon enough they win each other's hearts and trust.

Okay, now you've had an insight into Eve, I'll be reviewing this book.

I guess you could probably classify this book in the category of Dystopian Fiction, seeing as the lives and the societies Anna Carey has created in this book reflects on possible outcomes in our future. She portrays the actions and the emotions of her characters that is relatable to her readers and the world.

RATING: 9/10
RECOMMENDATION: To all fans of the Hunger Games and the Divergent series!
SMILEYS :D - :) :) :) :) :0

Overall, it's all personal preference as to the kinds of books you love to read and the connections that the book and you have together.

Visit the website:

to find out how you could purchase Anna's book.

Watch out for weekly posts!
