Book Review: Eve by Anna Carey

I've just recently finished a book called Eve.

I can't tell you how long I have wanted to read it! Don't take it in a way that it's a long book, it was just really hard for me to find it but I'm sure where you're living has better variety of books!

Eve is about an 18 year old girl who - like many other orphaned children whose parents died in the plague - have been brought up since a young age at a School who has educated them and promised them a bright new future in the New America.

But the night before graduation, Eve learns the shocking truth of the school's real purpose and the horrifying fate that awaits her.

Fleeing the only home she has ever known, Eve sets out into the wilderness to seek refuge in Califia. On the way she meets a rebellious boy named Caleb, soon enough they win each other's hearts and trust.

Okay, now you've had an insight into Eve, I'll be reviewing this book.

I guess you could probably classify this book in the category of Dystopian Fiction, seeing as the lives and the societies Anna Carey has created in this book reflects on possible outcomes in our future. She portrays the actions and the emotions of her characters that is relatable to her readers and the world.

RATING: 9/10
RECOMMENDATION: To all fans of the Hunger Games and the Divergent series!
